Spring fruits...

Додајте натпис

Blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries... I'm waiting for the arrival of spring fruit with great enthusiasm! I love to paint from spilling over gently pink to dark purple when I go to the market. With this inspiration, I made a new necklace.
Crocheted beads, self-hardening hand-painted clay beads, wood beads provide diverse structure ...

42.51inches/108cm long

Baby pink, fuchsia, lavender, lilac, purple, brown...
Enjoy the scent of the coming spring!

Here I am!

Yes, I know - long time, no see :)
The time goes so fast for me... kids ,painting, my day job as an Art Director on TV Budva, my jewelry, art workshop for kids.... sometimes it's hard to find a little time and concentration for writting a blogpost.
Last two weeks I've spent in Belgrade (Serbia) and Zrenjanin (eastern part of Serbian province of Vojvodina) together with my husband and kids. My Husband and I were inwited to take part in art-colony in Zrenjanin. We have spent 5 days there. I've never been in Zrenjanin before and really fall in love with that city...
Here are few interesting facts about Zrenjanin:

Zrenjanin is home to the oldest continually operating post office in Serbia, founded in 1737
Zrenjanin is sometimes referred to as The City of Bridges. There are 11 bridges!

And after Zrenjanin, we have spent 2 days in Belgrade (the capitol of Serbia). We went to the Zoo, children's theater, visiting our cousins and so much of walking...
I've found a little time to visit few supply shops. I am showing you some "goodies".

Looking forward to my kids go to park that I could begin making my jewelry with this new supplies :))))

EST challenge - MAKE SOMETHING NEW

For some time I`ve been thinking to try myself in painting furniture, but haven`t had enough time (i. e. courage) to do that.
Than, last week Renate of Kreativlink posted the new European Street Team Challenge Theme - MAKE SOMETHING NEW.
She wanted us to do something we never did before, to come out of our comfort zone and experiment. Then I knew, it is the right moment to try myself in painting furniture!
This was an old and olmost forgotten cupboard... I`ve painted it with cheerful and bold colors (my usual coloring :)) and gave it a new look. That old-new cupboard refreshed the look of our home :)

I enjoyed every moment of painting it! I like the feeling of giving a new life to old and almost thrown away stuff!
And remmember: whatever you do, try to go beyond your limits. I`m sure you`ll be amazed what you`ll find there :)

SUN!

Finally! After several weeks with a lot of rain, today was a beautiful sunny day! My husband and I took our kids for a walk. We went to nearby beaches to...

... colect some beach treasury...

... enjoy the beauty... (yes, there is snow on nearby hills!)

... and one cute guest visited my daughter :)

I love my town!

Work in Progress...

Would you like a cup of felted beads?

While my kids are playing, I can enjoy both a cup of coffee and a cup of my new felted and crocheted beads.

And look at this beautiful cup! A few years ago I got it from my dear friend Mila. She's in hospital today and will have a little operation. This is my way to send her some good energy :)

A new necklace in shades of grey and lilac will be in my etsy shop in couple of days.
